Professional Background

Bill Hartzer is the founder of Hartzer Consulting and DNAccess, and has worked continuously in the domain name industry since the 1990s, including early research across legacy and new generic top-level domains (gTLDs). In 2013 he launched Verified.Domains, one of the first dedicated domain background-check services, work that directly informs the ownership and forensic investigation methodology used in expert witness engagements today.

Expert Witness Experience

Hartzer has served as an expert witness in numerous legal matters involving domain names and websites, including UDRP/URS proceedings, ACPA litigation, and ownership disputes. His work in these matters has included expert reports, rebuttal reports, deposition testimony, and trial testimony.
